StormStopper FSU (Film Surface Underlayment) is a self-adhering, steep-slope roofing underlayment designed for use under asphalt shingles, shakes and metal roofing systems where temperatures are not to exceed 240°F (116°C).
The underlayment is designed for ice and water applications along the roof edges and in valley applications, but can also be installed over the entire roofing surface to offer secondary water protection. StormStopper FSU can also be used as a flashing membrane around exterior penetrations to offer complete waterproofing protection.
StormStopper FSU is available in a 36” x 67’ roll size and comes packaged 30 cartons per pallet. It features an embossed surface for excellent foot traction.
This economical choice underlayment joins MFM’s other high-temperature rated underlayments: MFM Wind & Water Seal, Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal, and Premium HT Tile & Metal.
