The surface fabric offers excellent traction for good footing and for stacking tiles during construction. Premium Wind & Water Seal underlayment
is engineered to be suitable for use under all
roofing materials. The rubberized asphalt
adhesive and the reinforced polymer film are
formulated to work in higher temperature
applications such as under metal roofing. Premium Wind & Water Seal adheres aggressively to most clean, dry substrates including metal, wood, oriented strand board, foam board, vinyl and masonry. Application Instructions Technical Information
Black Wind & Water Seal is backed with a protective release sheet which removes easily during application. The release sheet is slit in the middle for easy valley applications. The sand surface contains a high-strength non-woven fiberglass mat which is coated with a rubberized asphalt compound. Sand is applied to the top surface for an improved walking surface. A selvedge edge allows for a secure seal on overlaps.
IB-3™ is a self-adhering waterproof roofing underlayment for shingles, tile, and other types of roofing. It is constructed from a strong layer of mesh bonded to rubberized asphalt and coated with black stone granules. Designed to be used as protection against leading edge ice dams, melting snow and wind-driven rain, IB-3 may also be used on valleys, eaves, ridges and anywhere an extra layer of protection is required. MFM Premium Wind & Water Seal™ is a
self-adhering waterproofing underlayment
membrane designed for extreme
applications. It is composed of a tough multilayer
high-strength polymer film coated with
a layer of specially formulated rubberized
asphalt adhesive. A release sheet protects
the asphalt and is removed as the
membrane is installed. To improve surface
traction, a raised pattern has been
embedded into the top of the polymer film.
Black Wind & Water Seal™ is a self-adhesive mineral
surface underlayment which is adhered directly to the roof
deck. The specially formulated rubberized asphalt adhesive
seals around nails and forms a long-lasting barrier.
