DeckWrap protects the surface of the wood with a
layer of asphalt adhesive. A durable film protects the asphalt. The asphalt adhesive self-seals around
nails, screws and other punctures.
DeckWrap adds
years of life to any wooden structure.
For deck installations, DeckWrap should be used
as a flashing over the ledger board so that water will
not enter the building. Use as a protective barrier to
prevent rot, particularly between the decking and
the joists.
12” DeckWrap is recommended.
ACQ-treated lumber can cause untreated metal
components, such as hangers and other brackets,
to corrode prematurely. DeckWrap provides a protective
barrier between ACQ lumber and metal
components.
Use 3” or 6” DeckWrap.
For in-ground posts: Degradation of the wood is
caused by funga l growth when the soil contacts the
post. Even in a concrete base, fungi can degrade
posts. Rot typically occurs up to six inches below
grade. Fungal growth requires oxygen and moisture
to thrive. Below six inches, there is little oxygen and
rot is negligible. DeckWrap acts as a barrier between
the damp soil and the post preventing rot.
Use 12” DeckWrap to protect posts. DeckWrap is becoming so popular - it even has its' own web site! Click here!!!
Application Instructions Technical Data

MFM Roof Deck Tape™ is a self-adhering tape composed of a non-slip film coated with a BTS™ asphalt-based adhesive. The aggressive adhesive is protected by a disposable paper and self-seals around fasteners.
Use MFM Roof Deck Tape to tape all joints and seams of a roof deck, preventing water from entering the structure. Once the joints and seams are taped, the roof may be covered with roofing felt, synthetic or self-adhering underlayment. Should the main roof fail, Roof Deck Tape will prevent water from entering the structure between the roof deck panels.
The aggressive Broad Temperature Spectrum™ asphalt-based adhesive used in Roof Deck Tape selfseals around roofing fasteners such as nails, screws and staples. Additionally, it readily sticks to plywood, OSB, rigid foam insulation, metal and other common roof deck materials.
Roof Deck Tape may also be used to prepare a substrate for Peel & Seal™ by taping wider than
normal joint and seam gaps. MFM Roof Deck Tape is the easy and economical way to prevent water from leaking into the building between the roof deck panels!
Application Instructions Technical Information
POST & POLE™ is a self-adhering protective membrane engineered to protect poles, posts, decks and metal brackets from premature rot and corrosion.
It's ideal for decks, steps, additions, pole-frame buildings, flashing, waterproofing and protecting metal against ACQ-treated lumber.
For in-ground posts: Degradation of the wood occurs when aerobic bacteria in the soil contacts the post. Even in a concrete base, bacteria can degrade posts. Rot typically occurs up to six inches below grade. Aerobic bacteria requires oxygen and moisture to exist. Below six inches, there is little oxygen and rot is negligible.

MFM's RidgeSeal and RidgeSeal+Plus™provide a superior sealing barrier for use when installing
concrete shingles and tile roofs. It eliminates costly
and time-consuming mortar applications to
critical hip and ridge areas where blowing
rain can enter.
The superb flexibility
makes application proceed quickly,
while the self-sealing qualities of
RidgeSeal create an excellent
weather- and insect-blocking barrier.
And because of its strength,
composition and durable UV-resistant
surface,
RidgeSeal can be left
exposed after application, and prior to the
installation being completed, for up to six months.
(For construction situations where unlimited exposure times might occur, specify MFM
RidgeSeal+Plus™. The formulation of RidgeSeal+Plus makes it impervious to the effects of weather
conditions and sunlight.)
